Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated ETL Test Engineer with strong experience in Banking and Financial Services projects. The candidate should have expertise in ETL testing, strong SQLKnowledge, Data Warehouse testing, and database validation across large-scale data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ETL testing and Data Warehouse testing for banking and financial applications.

Validate source-to-target data mappings and transformation logic.

Design and execute test cases for batch data loads and ETL workflows.

Develop and execute SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.

Identify data quality issues and perform root cause analysis.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data engineers.

Participate in defect tracking and test reporting activities.

Mandatory Skills

Experience in creating and executing ETL test cases, test scenarios, and SQL-based data validation scripts.

Strong SQL writing and query optimization skills.

Exposure with Any ETL Tools (such as Informatica, DataStage Designer, or equivalent).

Hands-on expertise in Oracle DB for data integration and management.





Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution design skills.

Experience in managing and leading technical teams within large-scale projects.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Experience with one or more databases:
Oracle

MYSQL

SQL Server

PostgreSQL

Teradata

DB2

Shell Scripting

Experience in Any ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Talend, SSIS, Ab Initio, or similar. Understanding of data validation, data migration, and data reconciliation.

Good to Have

Exposure to cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

Unix/Linux commands.
