KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overall Operations Management

- Take complete responsibility for day-to-day Fire & Safety project and service operations.
- Plan, manage and monitor all ongoing projects and AMC/service activities.
- Ensure projects and services are delivered on time, within budget and as per required quality standards.
- Develop operational systems, processes and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor overall manpower, productivity, material requirements and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular operational review meetings with project and service teams.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

2. Project Management & Execution

- Oversee complete project lifecycle from technical discussion, estimation and order confirmation to execution, testing, commissioning and final handover.
- Monitor multiple projects simultaneously and ensure proper project planning.
- Review project schedules, manpower deployment, material planning and execution strategy.
- Ensure timely completion of projects and prevent unnecessary delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor project profitability and control project-related expenses.
- Ensure proper coordination between engineering, purchase, stores, accounts and site teams.
- Review project progress reports and take corrective action wherever required.

3. Technical Leadership

The candidate must possess strong practical knowledge of Fire Protection Systems, including:

- Fire Hydrant Systems
- Sprinkler Systems
- Fire Fighting Piping Systems
- Fire Pumps & Pump Rooms
- Fire Alarm & Detection Systems
- Addressable & Conventional Fire Alarm Systems
- Fire Suppression Systems
- Fire Extinguishing Systems
- Fire Extinguishers
- Emergency Lighting & Exit Systems
- Fire NOC & Fire Safety Compliance

Responsibilities include:

- Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications and project requirements.
- Guide engineers and technical teams on complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot critical site and system-related problems.
- Review system design and execution methodology.
- Ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of systems.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
- Act as the company's senior technical representative during key client/consultant discussions.

4. Service & AMC Operations

- Lead the company's Fire & Safety maintenance and AMC operations.
- Monitor preventive maintenance and breakdown service activities.
- Ensure timely deployment of service engineers and technicians.
- Monitor customer complaints, response time and resolution time.
- Improve service quality and customer retention.




- Identify opportunities for AMC renewal, system upgrades and additional business.
- Develop systems for service reporting, maintenance schedules and customer feedback.

5. Team Leadership & Manpower Management

- Lead and manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Service Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and other technical manpower.
- Define responsibilities, targets and performance expectations.
- Allocate manpower according to project and service requirements.
- Monitor team performance, discipline and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Develop technically capable second-line leadership.
- Recruit and build a strong technical and project execution team wherever required.
- Provide technical and managerial guidance to team members.

6. Client & Consultant Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors and business partners.
- Attend important technical and commercial meetings.
- Handle escalations and critical client issues.
- Understand client requirements and ensure timely resolution.
- Represent the company in major project meetings and negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients for repeat business and AMC opportunities.

7. Estimation, Tendering & Commercial Management

- Review major tender documents, BOQs, technical specifications and scope of work.
- Guide the estimation team in preparing technically and commercially competitive quotations.
- Review project costing and pricing before submission.
- Evaluate project margins and commercial risks.
- Coordinate with purchase/vendors for material pricing and availability.
- Monitor project profitability.
- Control unnecessary expenditure and wastage.
- Support management in major commercial negotiations.

8. Business Development

- Identify new business opportunities in Fire Protection and Fire & Safety services.
- Develop relationships with industrial, commercial, infrastructure and other potential clients.
- Support management in acquiring new projects and service contracts.
- Identify opportunities for:
- New Fire Fighting Projects
- Fire Alarm Projects
- AMC / Maintenance Contracts




- System Upgrades
- Retrofitting
- Annual Service Contracts
- Support the sales/business development team with technical inputs and client presentations.
- Contribute to the company's revenue growth and market expansion.

9. Vendor & Subcontractor Management

- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate vendor performance, quality and commercial terms.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of project materials.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and work quality.
- Negotiate commercial terms where required.
- Ensure project requirements are met without compromising quality or timelines.

10. Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure all projects comply with applicable Fire & Safety standards and client requirements.
- Ensure proper quality control during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor site safety practices and compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation, inspection reports, test certificates and handover documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NBC, IS Standards, NFPA and local Fire Department / Fire NOC requirements, wherever applicable.
- Conduct periodic quality and operational audits.

11. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare and review regular MIS reports for management covering:
- Project Status
- Project Profitability
- Sales Pipeline
- Service/AMC Status
- Outstanding Issues
- Manpower
- Material Requirements
- Client Complaints
- Receivables / Commercial Issues
- Present operational performance and key issues to the Directors/Management.
- Provide recommendations for improving profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Fire & Safety, Mechanical, Electrical or relevant engineering discipline preferred.
- 05-06 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection / Fire & Safety industry.
- Strong experience in Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Hydrant, Sprinkler and Fire Protection Projects.
- Previous experience in a senior management / project leadership / operations role will be preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects and large technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of technical drawings, BOQs, estimation and project costing.
- Practical knowledge of NBC, IS Codes, NFPA and Fire NOC requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel and project/MIS reporting.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
