We are looking for an experienced and dependable DCDP Chef (Demi Chef de Partie) to join our café kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage a section, maintain food quality and consistency, and support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently handle an assigned kitchen section during service
- Prepare and execute dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Complete daily mise-en-place and ensure the section is ready before service
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, quality, and plating
- Support and guide Commis chefs and junior kitchen staff
- Monitor stock levels and communicate daily ingredient requirements
- Follow FIFO, proper storage, labelling, and food safety standards
- Control portion sizes and minimise food wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen
- Coordinate closely with the senior chef and service team during service
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Support inventory checks and stock management




- Take responsibility for the section in the absence of the senior chef

Requirements

- 2–4 years of relevant kitchen experience
- Previous experience as DCDP, Senior Commis, or similar role preferred
- Strong experience in continental or café-style food
- Comfortable preparing pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, eggs, salads, and similar café dishes
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage practices
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure during busy service
- Good organisational and teamwork skills
- Punctual, responsible, and disciplined
- Adaptable to work weekends and public holidays

Preferred

- Experience working in a premium café, casual dining restaurant, or continental kitchen
- Basic understanding of inventory and food-cost control
- Ability to train and support junior kitchen staff

Salary: ₹25000–₹32000 per month, depending on experience and skill level

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
