Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial records, and reporting activities for Kunnil Hypermarket. The candidate should have good knowledge of retail accounting, GST, inventory accounting, and banking procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Maintain purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries
- Prepare daily cash flow and bank reconciliation statements
- Manage GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Monitor supplier payments, outstanding balances, and receivables
- Verify invoices, purchase bills, and expense records
- Maintain inventory-related accounting and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and management when required
- Prepare financial reports, profit & loss statements, and MIS reports
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records and documentation
- Support management in budgeting and financial planning

Requirements

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting,



preferably in supermarket/hypermarket/retail industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- Knowledge of Tally, Excel, and any accounting software
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Valuable communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience in retail inventory accounting
- Knowledge of ERP or supermarket billing/accounting systems
- Ability to handle supplier and banking coordination efficiently

Salary

Starting from ₹23,000 onwards (Negotiable based on experience and qualification)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
