HOSTEL WARDEN:-

Qualifications

- Graduate in any field
- Good knowledge of computer
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Valuable in communication (Verbal/ written)

Roles and Responsibilities

- To assist College Authorities in managing the hostels, resident student’s welfare, ensuring discipline, mess management, administration and security of the hostel.
- Allotment of room in every year at the time of new session & all time observes the Code of Conduct, Hostel rules & regulations in vogue from time to time.
- Students should be instructed to stay in the room allotted to him. Warden should ensure that rooms are occupied by the designated number of students i.e. 3 bedded room will be occupied by 3 students.
- Students should have instructed to return to Hostel as per the date/time indicated in the Out-pass, if for any reason they are not able to return as per the date, warden should confirm the reason with their parents.
- To maintain record of the attendance & leave record of students.
- To monitor student’s outings and maintain all gate pass/ records in students file.
- Responsible for overall and smooth functioning of hostel and mess i.e. display the menu of the week, the same should be prepared after consultation with student mess committee.
- Responsible for all kind of quality checks (food quality/ water/ facilities etc. Maintain quality and quantity of food being served to the students,



cleanliness of cooking utensils and other equipments being used in the kitchen and overall hygiene of the mess and kitchen area. Material is also being used as per approved brands.
- Maintenance of stock of furniture, Common room, Gym, CCTV, kitchen, mess fittings, furnishing, equipment’s and other Installations.
- Responsible for all facilities of Hostel i.e electricity, plumbing, carpenter, WI-FI, cleanliness and welder concerned as well as overall security of the hostel and coordination with Security Officer / Administrator.
- Responsible for the maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel. Render assistance in day to day activities as well as upgrade, discipline and decorum of common room and recreational activities like sports and other cultural programs for residents.
- A physically checking carried out on daily basis in the rooms whether the students present in their rooms.
- To report the names of students who are violating the rules of hostel, mess and defaulters in clearing the mess dues to the Administrator / Registrar.
- To ensure that no ragging takes places in the hostel and maintain a raging free hostel & report the cases of serious indiscipline/ ragging to the seniors for further action.
- To supervise and coordinate with mess workers & maintain record of their attendance.
- To coordinate with parents, for any kind of information & maintain good and healthy interaction with students also.
- Any other duty assigned by College Authorities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
