Forward Deployed Engineer

We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to own technical customer relationships for an AI data platform serving private equity, private credit, and venture capital teams.

What you’ll doBuild and demo custom solutions on customer data, connecting structured and unstructured sources such as PDFs, Excel files, and databases. Own pre-sales technical work, reusable demos, private data demonstrations, and deal strategy support. Support post-sales implementations, data integrations, evaluations, and customer feedback loops. Work directly with analysts and senior stakeholders to translate customer needs into product improvements.

- What we’re looking for 5–8 years in a technical customer-facing role (FDE, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, TAM)



or software engineering with significant customer-facing work.
- Full-stack or backend software engineering experience. Solid Python and SQL skills; comfort with data pipelines, messy unstructured data, and AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, LLMs, vector databases, or agentic workflows. High agency, founder mindset, and genuine interest in customer-facing, sales-adjacent work.
- Technical degree preferred and experience at a scrappy startup or AI-native company. Financial-services exposure is a plus.
