Position: Logistics Support – Factory Operations

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Support professional with an MBA in Logistics to support factory-oriented supply chain, inventory, procurement, production planning, and logistics operations.

Qualification

- MBA in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, inventory, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day factory logistics and supply chain operations.
- Coordinate material movement between vendors, warehouses, manufacturing units, and other locations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, stock movement, and warehouse records.
- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely availability of raw materials and other production requirements.
- Support production planning and material requirements based on production schedules.
- Coordinate logistics and distribution activities to ensure timely movement and delivery of materials.
- Monitor purchase orders, vendor commitments, deliveries, and material availability.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory, procurement, logistics, and production.
- Prepare regular MIS reports, inventory reports, and logistics performance reports.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, warehouse, accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Identify supply chain delays, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Support demand forecasting and material planning based on production requirements and historical data.




- Ensure accuracy and proper documentation of valuable materials and inventory.
- Assist in managing multiple vendors and manufacturing units.

- Knowledge of export/import regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with jewellery-specific ERP systems.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and manufacturing units.
- Experience in jewellery manufacturing, precious-metal operations, or related industries will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on logistics and supply chain professional who is comfortable working in a factory environment and can effectively coordinate between production, procurement, warehouse, vendors, and logistics teams.

Strong organizational skills, numerical accuracy, material tracking ability, and a high level of responsibility are essential for handling valuable jewellery-related inventory.
