About the Role

MPalath is looking for a skilled Freelance Video Editor with experience in the fashion and clothing industry to create high-converting video content for social media advertising campaigns.

This role is ideal for an editor who understands that a successful ad is not just visually attractive—it needs to capture attention immediately, communicate the product value clearly, and drive viewers towards taking action.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, Facebook/Meta Ads and short-form promotional videos for MPalath.
- Create conversion-focused video ads for clothing and fashion products.
- Develop strong hooks within the first few seconds to stop viewers from scrolling.
- Structure videos with effective pacing, transitions, text overlays, product highlights and CTAs.
- Edit content specifically for paid advertising campaigns, keeping audience retention and conversion in mind.
- Adapt raw footage into multiple creative variations for A/B testing.
- Understand how to highlight clothing design, fit, fabric, styling, offers and product benefits through video.
- Create content suitable for different stages of the customer journey, including awareness, engagement and conversion.
- Work with the marketing team to develop new creative concepts based on campaign performance.
- Continuously improve video creatives based on ad performance, audience response and retention metrics.

Required Experience & Skills

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the fashion, clothing, apparel or lifestyle industry.
- Previous experience creating Reels or short-form videos used in paid advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of hook placement, storytelling, pacing and audience retention.




- Experience creating performance/conversion-based ad creatives, not just aesthetic social media content.
- Good understanding of Meta Ads creative requirements and formats.
- Ability to turn raw footage into compelling, engaging and sales-oriented videos.
- Strong sense of fashion, visual composition, typography, music and trends.
- Ability to understand a target audience and edit content accordingly.
- Comfortable working independently as a freelancer and delivering within agreed timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Candidates from Kerala are preferred.
- Previous work with Kerala-based clothing/fashion brands is an advantage.
- Experience editing ads that have generated leads, sales, enquiries or strong engagement.
- Knowledge of current Instagram Reels and Meta advertising trends.
- Experience creating multiple creative variations for testing.
- Portfolio demonstrating fashion/clothing ad creatives is highly preferred.

Engagement

Freelance / Project-Based

Work will be assigned based on upcoming campaigns and creative requirements. Opportunity for long-term collaboration based on quality, performance and consistency.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
