The Commis Chef is an entry-level kitchen professional responsible for assisting senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. The role provides an opportunity to develop culinary skills while ensuring food is prepared to the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, sauces, salads, and other ingredients as required.
- Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Store food ingredients correctly and follow food safety procedures.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef,



or Head Chef.
- Clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment after use.
- Follow all company, health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen training is preferred.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Good hygiene and food safety awareness.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Valuable time management and attention to detail.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
