Freight Broker – US Logistics

Experience: 1–3 years in US freight brokering or US logistics

Amtrix Infotech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and target-oriented Freight Broker to join our US logistics team in Mohali. The successful candidate will manage shipper and carrier relationships, negotiate freight rates, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth pickup and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Source and book freight loads from shippers, customers, and load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.

Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and transportation partners.

Negotiate freight rates and secure profitable deals.

Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and shipment schedules.

Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and carriers.

Handle rate confirmations, bills of lading, proof of delivery, invoices, and other documents.

Resolve delays, cancellations, detention, breakdowns, and other transportation-related issues.





Maintain accurate records in the TMS, CRM, and other company systems.

Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and operational targets.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in US freight brokering, freight sales, logistics, or transportation.

Practical knowledge of US trucking and freight operations.

Experience with DAT, Truckstop, TMS, CRM, or similar logistics software.

Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and email communication.

Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.

Willingness to work in the US night shift.
