Job Summary

A godown (warehouse) supervisor manages daily storage operations, overseeing inventory accuracy, staff, and logistics. Key responsibilities include receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining safety compliance, optimizing storage space, and using inventory software to ensure accurate stock levels. They lead, train, and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to meet operational targets.

Location: Thodupuzha, Mangattukavala.

Core Responsibilities

- Operations Oversight: Directing daily receiving, warehousing, and distribution, including checking inbound containers and coordinating shipments.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular cycle counts, and reconciliating discrepancies using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Team Leadership: Supervising warehouse employees, assigning tasks, training new hires, and ensuring staff follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensuring safety compliance ensuring proper use of equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized, and secure facility.




- Efficiency Optimization: Improving warehouse processes to boost productivity, reduce costs, and maximize storage capacity.

Requirements & Skills

- Experience: Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and experience with warehouse management systems.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, team motivation, and communication skills.
- Physical/Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management, safety regulations, and equipment maintenance.
- Education: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or supply chain management is often preferred.
