Senior Site Engineer / Project Coordination Engineer

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Civil Engineering

Role:

We are looking for a mid-level Civil Engineer to act as the key coordination link between the Project Head, site engineers, contractors and various project agencies for high-rise residential projects.

The role will focus on site supervision, progress monitoring, quantity verification, contractor billing and inter-agency coordination to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate between the Project Head and site engineering team for day-to-day execution and priorities.

* Supervise civil, structural and finishing works and ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

* Monitor daily/weekly progress against project schedules and highlight delays or bottlenecks.

* Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors and specialised agencies including windows/aluminium, façade, waterproofing, MEP, lifts, fire-fighting and finishing agencies.

* Check site measurements and verify quantities executed by contractors.

* Verify contractor RA bills, quantities, measurements and supporting documentation before submission for approval.

* Maintain quantity and billing records and monitor work against BOQ/work orders.

* Coordinate material requirements and ensure availability in line with execution schedules.





* Review drawings and identify discrepancies, site constraints and coordination issues before execution.

* Ensure proper sequencing and coordination between Civil, MEP and finishing activities to minimise rework.

* Conduct regular site inspections for quality, workmanship and safety compliance.

* Track pending works and follow up with site engineers and agencies for timely closure.

* Assist the Project Head with progress reports, contractor performance, billing status and project MIS.

* Coordinate snagging and rectification during advanced stages of the project.

Candidate Requirements

* 5–8 years’ experience in high-rise residential construction.

* Strong practical knowledge of civil execution, finishing and construction methodology.

* Good understanding of BOQs, quantity take-offs, measurements and contractor billing.

* Experience coordinating multiple contractors and specialised agencies.

* Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

* Robust site supervision, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel and project MIS.

* Mumbai high-rise residential project experience preferred.
