Job description:

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, develop, and revise 2D engineering drawings in AutoCAD, including general arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings.
- Convert design inputs, engineering sketches, and calculations from senior engineers into explicit, dimensionally accurate drawings ready for fabrication or review.
- Support basic 3D modelling and assembly work in SolidWorks under supervision, as required by project needs.
- Trace over reference drawings, scanned documents, hand sketches, or marked-up prints in AutoCAD to produce clean, accurate, to-scale CAD drawings.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer conventions, title blocks, and templates in line with company and industry norms.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and project engineers to incorporate design changes and ensure drawings reflect the latest revisions.
- Maintain proper documentation control — drawing registers, revision, and tracking.
- Check drawings for dimensional accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant drafting/engineering standards.

Technical Skills





- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting — able to independently produce GA, fabrication, and detail drawings with correct dimensioning, annotation, and layout.
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM), including part numbering, quantities, and descriptions for drawings and assemblies.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering drawing conventions, tolerancing, and basic GD&T; concepts.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) for basic documentation.

Qualifications: B-tech in mechanical engineering

Experience: 0-2 year

- Possess spatial awareness with the ability to demonstrate skilled knowledge in analyzing technical solutions.
- Have working knowledge of engineering principles and practices, as well as working knowledge of basic principles of design, systems design, installation, and mathematics.
- Have strong communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English.
