Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations for the distribution business.
- Handle distributor claims, schemes, incentives, credit notes and settlements.
- Verify and approve claims based on supporting documents, company policies and agreed schemes.
- Conduct regular distributor ledger, outstanding and claims reconciliation.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage accounts receivable/payable and distributor outstanding.
- Prepare and review MIS, ageing reports, claims reports and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Distributors for claim and account-related matters.
- Support internal and statutory audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
- Lead, guide and review the work of the Accounts team.
- Ensure monthly closing and reporting are completed accurately and within timelines.

Required Experience & Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Strong preference for candidates from FMCG, Cosmetics,



Consumer Goods or Distribution businesses.
- Hands-on experience with Distributor Claims, Schemes, Credit Notes and Reconciliation is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Positive understanding of GST, TDS and audit processes.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Tally/ERP.
- Experience in MIS preparation and analysis.
- Prior team-handling experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Sales teams, distributors and internal stakeholders.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA Attempted candidates preferred.

Candidates who have appeared for CA examinations but have not cleared them may also apply, provided they have solid practical Accounts experience.
