Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer – Java Backend with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, cloud technologies, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable applications, managing production environments, and working with modern DevOps and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs and system integrations.

Design and implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.

Develop and optimize solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.

Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver resilient, cloud-native applications.

Implement automated testing, code quality, and CI/CD practices.

Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm.

Work with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Manage production releases, deployment planning, validation, rollback strategies, and change management.

Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for critical production systems.

Lead troubleshooting and resolution of major production incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures.

Monitor application health and performance using tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus,



Dynatrace, ELK, or AppDynamics.

Optimize applications for scalability, performance, availability, and security.

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Contribute to technical documentation, operational runbooks, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of Java backend development experience.

Strong expertise in:

Java , JRE / JDK ,Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Microservices, System Design

Strong experience with:

AWS and/or Azure, Kafka / RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift, Helm

Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Strong experience with PostgreSQL.

Good understanding of distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms.

Experience managing production deployments and critical incidents.

Experience with on-call support and production troubleshooting.

Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements

Strong communication skills are essential.

Candidates should preferably have demonstrated employment stability, with at least 2 years in previous organizations.

Candidates available to join immediately to 45 days are preferred.

Experience in a client-facing environment is highly desirable.
