Responsibilities: Professionals having experience in developmental disabilities will be preferred.

1. Work closely with the team to make multi-disciplinary assessment of each trainee's strengths, difficulties and needs and to develop an appropriate intervention plan.

2. Providing therapy services to existing trainee , by developing and implementing individualized PT programs for them in consultation with other staff.

3. Conducting periodic reassessment for change in condition, and modifying treatment plans accordingly, in consultation with other staff.

4. Providing training to parents of trainees on how to carry out appropriate activities at home, as well as advice on proper positioning, handling, etc.

5. Maintaining up to date records of all trainees.

6. Keeping a regular check and maintenance of therapy equipment.

7. Keeping updated on latest developments in the field of pediatrics, mental and physical disabilities, and physiotherapy by reading, researching, and attending at least one relevant workshop in a year and reporting on it. Sharing case study of the relevant workshop, seminar, etc.

8. Sharing knowledge of transfers, postures,



etc. with other members of staff, in order to optimize our services to children.

9. Periodic rotation of services to other centers of Latika for knowledge growth and sharing of knowledge with other centers.

10. Participate in team meetings/workshops and Latika meetings as applicable, contributing a Physiotherapist’s perspective when appropriate.

11. Training in house staff, parents and the staff of other NGOs in the area of physiotherapy for special needs.

12. Observe full professional standards in working with trainees, families and staff. including the immediate reporting of any concerns regards child protection issues, in accordance with Latika Roy Foundation policies.

13. Comply with arrangements regarding supervision and appraisal, according to Latika staff policies.

14. Carry out any further duties which may be requested by the reporting manager and are in accordance with your professional skills.
