The Delivery Head is responsible for end-to-end delivery governance across all projects and programs, ensuring successful execution, customer satisfaction, revenue realization, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth in their respective region. The role provides leadership to project managers and cross-functional teams while driving delivery maturity, resource optimization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Delivery Management
- Own the overall delivery of projects within the assigned region.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality requirements.
- Review project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and overall project health.
- Lead periodic project and program reviews with Project Managers.
- Ensure timely completion of implementation, UAT, Go-Live, rollout, and O&M; activities.
- Intervene and provide corrective actions for delayed or high-risk projects.
2. Project Management & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and project teams.
- Ensure effective utilization and allocation of resources across projects.
- Review resource requirements and coordinate with HR and management for recruitment and staffing.
- Build a strong project management and delivery culture.
3. Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Manage senior-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Act as the senior escalation point for project-related issues.
- Participate in steering committee and executive-level review meetings.
- Ensure customer concerns and escalations are addressed promptly.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
4. Financial & Commercial Management
- Monitor project revenue, profitability, margins, billing, and collections.
- Coordinate with Finance and Project Managers for timely invoicing and collection.
- Review the technical,
resource, schedule, and commercial impact of scope changes and Change Requests.
- Support additional business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
5. Risk & Escalation Management
- Identify and monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints.
- Ensure appropriate mitigation and contingency plans are implemented.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management with clear recommendations and action plans.
7. Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Prepare and present regional project portfolio dashboards and management reports.
- Ensure timely reporting of significant project deviations and risks.
8. Scope & Change Management
- Ensure projects are executed within the approved contractual scope.
- Review customer change requests and assess their impact on scope, cost, resources, and timelines.
- Ensure approved changes are properly documented and incorporated into project plans.
- Coordinate with Business Development and Commercial teams for contractual amendments and additional scope.
9. Go-Live & O&M; Management
- Provide leadership during major Go-Live and rollout activities.
- Ensure adequate readiness of technical, functional, infrastructure, and support teams.
- Monitor post-Go-Live stabilization and issue resolution.
- Monitor O&M; performance against agreed SLAs and contractual commitments.
10. Process Improvement & Business Support
- Standardize and improve project delivery practices across the region.
- Identify and implement best practices across projects.
- Work with Business Development and Account Management teams to support new opportunities and account growth.
- Provide delivery inputs for proposals, bids, and project estimates where required.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT services, software development, digital transformation, e-Governance, or enterprise project delivery.
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, or Delivery Leadership.
- Experience managing multiple projects or large project portfolios.
- Experience managing Government, PSU, or large enterprise IT projects is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Experience in e-Governance, IFMS, ERP, or Digital Transformation projects will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Operations / Management preferred.
- PMP / PgMP / PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
- Agile / Scrum or ITIL certification is an advantage.
- Experience with Jira, MS Project, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in e-Governance and Public Administration projects.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,229,508.77 per year
