Education -: CMA / ICWA preferred. CA Inter or MBA Finance may also be

considered.

Experience-:4/7 Years (Plant MIS, budgeting, product costing, inventory valuation, stock

reconciliation and variance analysis.)

Responsibilities-:Prepare and circulate monthly Plant MIS covering production, consumption,

sales, inventory, costs, productivity and profitability.

 Analyse actual performance against Budget, Forecast and Previous Year.

 Prepare plant-wise and product-wise performance analysis.

 Develop management dashboards and key performance indicators.

 Identify major deviations and provide reasons and corrective action points.

 Ensure timely and accurate submission of MIS to management.

 Support monthly business review and plant performance meetings.

3.2 Budgeting & Forecasting

 Coordinate the annual plant budget process with Production, Engineering,

Procurement, HR and other functions.

Prepare and consolidate plant-wise volume, RM, conversion cost,

manpower, utilities, overhead and capex budgets.

 Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.

 Prepare monthly Budget vs Actual variance analysis.

 Support periodic forecasting and financial projections.

 Highlight potential cost overruns and provide corrective recommendations.

3.3 Product Costing & Cost Control

 Prepare and maintain product-wise cost sheets.

 Review standard cost and actual cost on a regular basis.

 Analyze RM price variance, consumption variance, yield variance,

conversion cost, utilities, manpower and overhead variances.

 Review BOM and routing-related costing inputs.





 Identify abnormal cost movements and coordinate with plant/operations teams

for corrective action.

 Support cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.

 Ensure costing data is accurately reflected in SAP/ERP.

3.4 Stock Valuation & Inventory Control

 Prepare and review month-end inventory valuation for RM, PM, WIP, FG

and other inventories.

 Reconcile physical stock with SAP/ERP stock records.

 Review stock quantity and value reconciliation between warehouse, plant,

C&F and subcontractor locations.

 Analyze inventory movements including opening stock, purchases,

production, consumption, transfers, sales and closing stock.

 Review slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, damaged and expired inventory.

Support inventory provisions and write-off calculations.

 Ensure proper valuation of WIP and finished goods based on applicable

costing methodology.

 Coordinate with Plant, Warehouse and Accounts teams for stock

discrepancies and timely resolution.

 Support physical stock verification and stock audit activities.

3.5 Production & Consumption Analysis

 Reconcile Production vs Consumption vs Sales vs Closing Stock.

 Review production quantities against BOM and actual consumption.





 Analyze material yield and process loss.

 Identify abnormal consumption and production variances.

 Review subcontracting/job-work stock and reconciliation.

 Ensure production and consumption entries are accurately recorded in SAP.

 Utility variance

 Labour and manpower cost variance

 Overhead variance

 Inventory valuation variance

 Standard vs actual cost

 Budget vs actual

 Current month vs previous month

 Actual vs previous year

3.7 Audit & Compliance Support

 Support internal, statutory, stock and cost audits.

 Provide costing, inventory, MIS and budget-related schedules to auditors.

 Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of inventory and costing

records.

 Track and close audit observations related to plant finance, stock and costing.

 Support implementation of financial controls at plant level.

4. Technical Skills Required

 Advanced Excel for MIS, reconciliations, costing and data analysis.

 SAP S/4HANA / ERP experience.

 SAP CO experience is mandatory.

 SAP MM / PP knowledge will be preferred.

 Strong knowledge of product costing and inventory valuation.

 Valuable understanding of manufacturing accounting and plant finance.
