Role description

Key Responsibilities

- Lead security architecture reviews, security assessments, and cloud hardening activities across Google Cloud environments.
- Support cloud service certification, security control mapping, evidence collection, audit readiness, and security approval processes within regulated environments.
- Design and implement secure cloud governance controls, landing zones, and enterprise security guardrails for Google Cloud adoption.
- Utilize GCP Cloud Security best practices to strengthen identity security, data protection, access management, and cloud-native security controls.
- Implement and automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform while ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and promote secure software delivery through DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, risk, and compliance teams to accelerate secure cloud adoption while maintaining regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to cloud security governance, risk management, compliance assessments, and audit support activities.

- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity architecture, or enterprise cloud consulting.
- 5+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Experience supporting banking, capital markets, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience in cloud governance,



compliance, audit support, risk management, and security control implementation.
