Job Description – Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive
Location: Marine Lines, Mumbai
Experience: 3–5 Years
CTC: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, TDS, accounting reconciliations, and real estate/construction-related accounting transactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform GSTR-2B reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns.
- Conduct bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
- Maintain and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Handle accounting transactions related to real estate/construction projects, including contractor bills, project expenses, customer receipts, and advances.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports, P&L;, Balance Sheet, outstanding reports, and other financial statements.




- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory and tax requirements.
- Support monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience in GST and TDS compliance.
- Positive understanding of GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Experience in bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Understanding of real estate/construction accounting preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
