Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspection of incoming mechanical, electrical, electronic, and robotic components.
- Verify incoming parts against approved specifications, BOM, drawings, and quality standards.
- Perform mechanical inspection of robot body, brackets, joints, wheels, fixtures, and other components.
- Inspect electrical components including wiring, connectors, PCB, sensors, motors, batteries, and chargers.
- Perform basic electrical testing using a Multimeter and other testing equipment.
- Verify robot assembly, wiring, component placement, cable routing, and overall build quality.
- Perform functional testing of robots, including motors, sensors, actuators, cameras, displays, and other robot components.
- Perform basic performance and safety testing such as battery backup, charging, movement, emergency stop, and obstacle detection.
- Identify, document, and report defects during incoming, assembly, functional, and final inspection.
- Prepare and maintain QC checklists, inspection reports, test reports, rejection reports, and defect records.
- Perform basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring quality issues.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, QA, Stores, and Purchase teams for quality-related issues.
- Perform final quality inspection before robot deployment, demo, or customer delivery.
- Ensure all QC checkpoints are completed before final robot release.
- Support field/deployment testing and investigation of robot-related quality issues.
- Maintain proper traceability of inspected components and robots.
- Suggest improvements to reduce defects, rework, and rejection rates.
- Follow company quality procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Control,
Quality Inspection, Manufacturing, Robotics, Automation, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.
- Understanding motors, sensors, batteries, wiring, connectors, PCB, and other electronic components.
- Hands-on experience with Multimeter, Vernier Caliper, and basic measuring/testing tools.
- Ability to understand basic mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and BOMs.
- Knowledge of inspection and testing processes.
- Basic understanding of RCA, NCR, CAPA, and defect tracking.
- Positive documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues.
- Willingness to work hands-on with robots and production equipment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Previous experience in the Robotics or Automation industry.
- Basic knowledge of ROS/ROS2.
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, LiDAR, cameras, navigation systems, and robot communication.
- Experience in robot assembly and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / Quality Management System.
- Experience in preparing QC checklists, SOPs, and inspection reports.
- Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining QC records.
- Understanding manufacturing and production quality processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional Engineering, Production, QA, and R&D; teams.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
- Relevant hands-on experience in QC/robotics/automation will be considered an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,792.46 - ₹43,484.52 per month
