JOB DESCRIPTION

E-Commerce Executive

Position :E-Commerce Executive

Department : E-Commerce / Digital Sales

Reports To : Priyanshu Maurya

Location :Mumbai (On-site)

Experience: 1–3 years in marketplace / D2C operations

Employment Type :Full-time

Qualification :Graduate — B.Com / BBA / BMS preferred

1. About Us

We are a rapid-growing pharmaceutical and cosmetics group with brands across dermatology, skincare and personal care. We sell through leading marketplaces, our own D2C store, and a distributor and franchise network across India.

2. Role Summary

The E-Commerce Executive will own day-to-day operations across Amazon, Flipkart and Shopify - listings, catalogue, inventory, orders, advertising, customer coordination and logistics follow-up. This is a hands-on execution role suited to someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and able to manage multiple platforms without letting things slip.

3. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Marketplace Management — Amazon, Flipkart & other E-commerce Platforms

● End-to-end listing management - creating and optimising product listings (titles, bullet points, A+ content, images, backend keywords) on Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub.

● Catalogue and inventory management — updating stock, pricing, variations and MRP / offer price across both platforms.

● Order processing — order confirmation, packaging coordination with the warehouse, tracking updates, and handling cancellations, returns and refunds.

● Running and optimising advertising — Amazon PPC (Sponsored Products / Sponsored Brands) and Flipkart Ads, including budget management, keyword bidding, negative keywords and ACoS / ROAS tracking.

● Monitoring account health — ratings, reviews, A-to-Z claims, return and defect rates, late dispatch rate, and timely resolution of seller-support tickets.

● Competitor and pricing analysis — Buy Box movement, competitor offers, new launches and price changes within our category.

● Participating in platform campaigns and festive events (Great Indian Festival, Big Billion Days, category deals) - deal submissions, stock planning and pricing approvals.

B. D2C / Shopify Operations

● Processing Shopify orders end-to-end — order confirmation, coordination with the shipping / logistics partner, tracking, and handling returns and exchanges.

● Outbound calling to customers to confirm Shopify orders (COD and prepaid verification) — confirming address, contact number and product details before dispatch, and working to reduce RTO. Comfort with outbound calling is essential to this role.

● Basic troubleshooting of order-related issues on Shopify — payment failures, address errors, duplicate orders, and coupon / discount issues.

● Responding to customer queries over email, WhatsApp and social channels within the defined turnaround time.

C. Operations & Logistics Support

● Coordinating with courier and logistics partners (Shiprocket and others) for pickups, delays, NDR follow-ups, and lost or damaged shipment resolution.

● Assisting with inventory reconciliation between warehouse stock and platform stock.

● Coordinating with the warehouse team on dispatch priorities, packaging quality, and batch / expiry-wise stock movement.

● Supporting day-to-day operational tasks as required by the team.

D. Reporting & Reconciliation

● Maintaining daily and weekly MIS — orders, GMV, returns, RTO %, AD spend, ACoS, top-selling and non-moving SKUs.

● Assisting the Accounts team with marketplace settlement reconciliation — pay-outs against orders, commission and fee deductions, short payments, and reimbursement claims for lost or damaged inventory.

● Flagging pricing errors, stock-outs and listing suppressions to the Marketing Coordinator immediately.

E. Compliance & Brand Protection

● Ensuring all listings comply with Legal Metrology labelling requirements — correct MRP, net quantity, manufacturer / marketer details, and category-specific norms for cosmetics and personal care.

● Ensuring minimum remaining shelf-life norms are met at the time of dispatch, and monitoring near-expiry stock on all platforms.

● Reporting unauthorised sellers, MRP / MOP violations and listing hijacks to the Marketing Coordinator.

● Maintaining strict confidentiality of seller account credentials, pricing structures, margins and vendor terms.

4. Required Skills & Qualifications

● Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA / BMS preferred).

● 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and Flipkart Seller Hub (mandatory).

● Working knowledge of the Shopify admin panel.

● Proficiency in MS Excel — VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filters and basic data cleaning.

● Good spoken Hindi and English; must be comfortable making outbound customer calls.

● Understanding of marketplace terminology — Buy Box, FBA / FBF vs. self-ship, ACoS, ROAS, NDR, RTO, SLA.

● Strong follow-up discipline, ownership and attention to detail.

5. Preferred (Added Advantage)

● Experience in beauty, personal care, skincare or pharmaceutical categories.

● Exposure to Nykaa, Purplle, Meesho or quick-commerce platforms.

● Experience with Shiprocket or a similar logistics aggregator dashboard.

● Basic image editing skills (Canva / Photoshop) for listing creatives.

● Familiarity with Tally or Marg ERP.

6. Key Performance Indicators

● Listing accuracy and completeness - zero suppressed or incomplete listings.

● Account health metrics maintained within platform thresholds (ODR, LDR, cancellation rate).

● Order dispatch within defined SLA.

● Month-on-month reduction in RTO percentage on D2C orders.

● ACoS / ROAS maintained within agreed targets.

● Timely closure of seller-support tickets and courier claims.

● MIS reports submitted accurately and on schedule.

7. What We Offer

● Ownership of a growing online business across multiple brands.

● Learning across marketplace operations, D2C, advertising and supply chain in a single role.
