Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and execution-oriented Marketing Manager to drive the brand's visibility, reputation and engagement across both on-ground and media-led platforms.
The role will be responsible for developing and executing initiatives across Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Local Area Marketing (LAM), Events, Activations, Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement.
The ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller and relationship builder who can identify opportunities, develop innovative marketing initiatives and manage them end-to-end—from ideation and planning to execution, amplification and measurement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Marketing & Brand Visibility
- Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen brand awareness, positioning and recall.
- Identify opportunities across on-ground, experiential, outdoor, community and partnership-led marketing.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and positioning across all marketing touchpoints.
- Develop campaigns around key admissions periods, institutional milestones, achievements and brand priorities.
- Identify innovative opportunities to differentiate the brand within the competitive education landscape.
- Work closely with creative and digital teams to ensure integrated campaign execution.
2. Public Relations & Reputation Management
- Develop and execute the brand's PR and communications strategy in alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with media, journalists, editors, publications, education platforms and relevant influencers.
- Identify opportunities for editorial coverage, interviews, features, thought leadership, school stories and leadership profiling.
- Develop compelling PR narratives around:
- Student achievements
- University placements and outcomes
- Academic and institutional milestones
- Faculty achievements
- Events and initiatives
- Educational philosophy and innovations
- Awards, recognitions and partnerships
- Coordinate with PR agencies, journalists and internal stakeholders for press releases, media interactions and interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and brand sentiment.
- Proactively identify potential reputation-building opportunities and manage communications around sensitive situations when required.
- Maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across external communications.
3. Local Area Marketing (LAM)
- Develop hyperlocal marketing strategies for key school catchment areas.
- Identify high-potential neighbourhoods, residential societies, communities, clubs and family-oriented locations.
- Plan and execute society activations, community engagements, kiosks, workshops, outreach programmes and local events.
- Build relationships with residential societies, clubs, businesses, activity centres and local communities.
- Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and local brand visibility.
- Monitor competitor activity within key catchment areas.
- Work closely with the Admissions team to align LAM initiatives with enrolment objectives.
4. Events & Experiential Marketing
- Conceptualise and execute brand events, open houses, workshops, exhibitions, community events and experiential activations.
- Develop event concepts that reflect the brand's premium positioning and educational philosophy.
- Manage events end-to-end, including:
- Concept development
- Planning
- Budgeting
- Vendor management
- Production
- Branding
- Logistics
- Guest management
- Permissions
- Post-event amplification
- Identify relevant external events where the brand can participate, sponsor, partner or create an experience.
- Track event performance through footfalls, engagement, leads, enquiries and admissions contribution.
5. Strategic Partnerships & Tie-Ups
- Identify and develop partnerships with premium brands, corporates, residential communities, clubs, children's brands, lifestyle businesses, cultural organisations and relevant institutions.
- Explore co-branded campaigns, workshops, events and cross-promotional opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with strategic partners that can enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Negotiate partnership terms and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
- Identify sponsorship and collaboration opportunities relevant to the brand's target audience.
6. Integrated Marketing Campaigns
- Develop annual and monthly marketing calendars covering Brand, PR, LAM, Events, Activations and Partnerships.
- Translate marketing objectives into integrated campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Work closely with Digital, Social Media, Creative, Admissions and PR agencies to ensure 360° campaign amplification.
- Identify opportunities to extend the reach of on-ground initiatives through social media, digital, content and PR.
7. Community & Influencer Engagement
- Identify relevant parent communities, education communities, local influencers, creators and thought leaders.
- Develop initiatives that encourage authentic advocacy and word-of-mouth marketing.
- Explore parent, alumni and community engagement opportunities.
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders who can strengthen brand credibility and reach.
8. Vendor, Agency & Budget Management
- Identify,
brief and manage PR agencies, creative agencies, event agencies, vendors and production partners.
- Evaluate proposals, negotiate commercials and manage budgets.
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of all initiatives.
- Track spends and ensure optimum utilisation of marketing budgets.
9. Reporting, Insights & ROI
- Track performance of PR, LAM, events, activations and partnerships.
- Monitor metrics including:
- Brand reach and visibility
- Media coverage
- Share of voice
- Event footfall
- Engagement
- Leads/enquiries
- Cost per lead
- Partnership performance
- Admissions contribution
- Prepare regular reports and recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness.
- Use market and competitor insights to identify new opportunities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5 years of experience in brand marketing, PR, experiential marketing, events, activations, LAM or integrated marketing.
- Experience in education, luxury, hospitality, real estate, lifestyle, FMCG or premium consumer brands would be an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing PR campaigns, events, partnerships and local marketing initiatives.
- Existing relationships with media, agencies, vendors and relevant local stakeholders would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Mumbai's key catchment areas and local communities.
- Comfortable working across strategy, ideation, stakeholder management and hands-on execution.
- A proactive self-starter who actively identifies opportunities rather than waiting for briefs.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
