Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Sandwich Maker to prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other food items according to company recipes and quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to standard recipes.
- Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables, meats, cheeses, sauces, and breads.
- Operate sandwich grills, toasters, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality standards.
- Maintain proper food storage and ensure ingredients are fresh.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, counters, and kitchen areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform the supervisor when ingredients need replenishment.
- Minimize food wastage through proper portion control and storage.
- Take and prepare customer orders accurately when required.
- Handle customer requests and dietary requirements professionally.




- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support other kitchen and restaurant staff during busy periods.
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Sandwich Maker, Food Preparation Worker, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to follow recipes and portion-control standards.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.
- Basic understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, where required.
