Job Summary

Ross Biotech Group is looking for a Product Manager with experience in biotechnology, life sciences, laboratory instruments, or research solutions. The candidate should combine strong technical product knowledge with an understanding of marketing, customer engagement, and business development.

The role involves managing assigned product portfolios, supporting the sales team, coordinating with global principal companies, developing technical marketing content, and driving product visibility and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a strong technical understanding of assigned products, applications, and workflows.
- Manage the assigned product portfolio and develop strategies to increase product awareness and sales.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, webinars, seminars, and customer training.
- Support the sales team during customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Prepare quotations, technical proposals, product comparisons, and tender specifications.
- Coordinate with principal companies for product training, pricing, technical support, product updates, and marketing materials.
- Conduct market research and identify potential customers across pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO, healthcare, academic, and government research sectors.
- Develop product-marketing plans and support new product launches.
- Create technically accurate content for brochures, presentations, email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, videos, and the company website.
- Plan and support digital marketing campaigns, webinars, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Generate and qualify leads through market mapping, campaigns, events, and customer outreach.
- Monitor competitors, pricing,



market trends, customer feedback, and new business opportunities.
- Track enquiries, leads, quotations, sales pipelines, marketing activities, and product performance.
- Provide product and application training to internal sales and technical teams.
- Prepare regular product-performance, sales-forecast, and marketing-activity reports for management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA or certification in Marketing, Product Management, or Business Management will be an advantage.
- 1-5 years of experience in product management, technical sales, application support, technical marketing, or business development within the life-science industry.
- Practical experience or working knowledge of digital marketing, content development, lead generation, campaigns, or product promotion.
- Experience with laboratory instruments, automation, biobanking, genomics, cell analysis, microbiology, or related research technologies is preferred.
- Strong technical communication, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to convert complex scientific information into transparent and engaging marketing content.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and digital marketing tools.
- Willingness to travel across India for customer meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions, and training.
