Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GeM Manager to manage and grow our business through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The candidate will be responsible for GeM registrations, product listings, bid management, order processing, government customer coordination, and achieving sales targets through the GeM platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete GeM portal operations, including product listing, catalogue management, pricing, and updates.
- Search, evaluate, and participate in relevant GeM bids, tenders, and reverse auctions.
- Prepare and submit bids/tenders within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Accounts, and Operations teams for successful order execution.
- Handle GeM orders from order receipt to final delivery and payment follow-up.
- Maintain proper documentation related to bids, orders, invoices, EMD/PBG, and other requirements.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, product positioning, and market trends on GeM.
- Coordinate with government departments, PSUs, and other institutional buyers.
- Resolve GeM-related issues, complaints, and order/payment-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with GeM policies, terms, and bidding requirements.
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly GeM MIS and sales reports.




- Develop strategies to increase product visibility, enquiries, orders, and revenue through GeM.
- Coordinate with internal teams for stock availability, dispatch, installation, and after-sales service.
- Follow up on pending payments and documentation with concerned departments.
- Achieve assigned monthly/annual GeM sales targets.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of the GeM Portal and government tendering process.
- Experience in GeM bidding, reverse auctions, product listing, and order management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting/MIS.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of government procurement procedures.
- Ability to analyse tender eligibility, BOQ, specifications, and commercial terms.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Target-oriented and detail-focused approach.

Qualification

Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
