Admission & Career Counsellor – Admin Operations

About the Role

A comprehensive, all-in-one role for a motivated individual who can guide students from their very first enquiry through to enrollment, career planning, and daily academy operations. You will be the single point of contact for students, parents, and faculty — counselling, managing admissions, handling fees, and keeping the academy running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Admissions & Student Counselling

- Handle student & parent enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email & walk-ins
- Counsel students on courses, fees, career paths & program benefits
- Manage leads, follow-ups & conversion pipeline to drive enrollments
- Support registration, documentation & onboarding of new students

Career Counselling

- Conduct one-on-one sessions to assess student goals and skill gaps
- Guide students on career options and industry pathways relevant to IT programs
- Track student progress and provide motivational support throughout the course
- Coordinate with placement / industry partners for career guidance activities

Admin & Operations

- Manage fee collection, generate receipts,



maintain fee records & follow up on dues
- Maintain daily attendance registers and flag absenteeism to management
- Coordinate with faculty for scheduling, timetables & operational needs
- Maintain student data and share daily/weekly MIS & admission reports

Required Skills

- Strong communication, counselling & interpersonal skills
- Good follow-up, convincing & relationship-building ability
- Organized, detail-oriented with ability to multitask
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets & CRM tools
- Comfortable with student-facing interactions as well as back-office work

Eligibility

- Any Graduate (BBA / B.Com / BA preferred)
- 1–3 yrs experience in EdTech, training institute, admissions or admin operations preferred
- Freshers with excellent communication & organizational skills can also apply
