Back Garden Nursery is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, banking activities, financial records and related documentation. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of CATPRO, MS Excel, accounting and banking processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and maintain sales, purchase, cash and expense transactions.
- Maintain customer, supplier and general ledger accounts.
- Handle day-to-day banking transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Monitor bank entries, deposits, payments and cheque transactions.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Reconcile cash, bank and ledger balances regularly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare routine accounting reports and statements for management.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks and management as required.




- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Requirements

- 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Freshers with accounting internship experience or candidates who have completed accounting training/course and have practical knowledge are also welcome to apply.
- Practical working knowledge of CATPRO preferred.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, ledger maintenance and bank reconciliation.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Responsible, organized and willing to learn.

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Jalandhar, Punjab

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
