Job Summary:

A Customer Relationship Executive (CRE) in a Co-operative Society is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with members and customers while driving business growth through effective sales, marketing, and direct sales activities. The role involves identifying and acquiring new customers, promoting and explaining the society’s products and services, including deposits, loans, savings schemes, and other financial products. The CRE acts as the first point of contact for customers, handles enquiries and complaints, provides timely assistance, and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction. The position requires regular field visits, direct customer meetings, lead generation, follow-ups, new customer acquisition, and achievement of assigned sales targets. The CRE is also responsible for promoting society schemes, maintaining proper documentation, following compliance and co-operative society procedures, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth service delivery. The role plays a key part in increasing business, expanding the customer base, strengthening member relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and development of the society.

Core Responsibilities :

Ø Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective members/customers of the co-operative society.

Ø Identify and generate new business opportunities through direct sales, field visits, referrals, lead generation, and customer meetings.

Ø Acquire new customers and members by promoting the society’s deposits, loans, investment schemes, and other financial products.

Ø Conduct regular direct customer meetings and field activities to generate leads.

Ø Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while continuously developing new customer networks.

Ø Achieve assigned sales, customer acquisition, deposit, loan,



and business development targets within the stipulated timelines.

Ø Explain the features, advantages, eligibility, interest rates, terms, and conditions of society products clearly to customers.

Ø Follow up with leads, prospects, and existing customers through calls, visits, and other appropriate communication channels to ensure successful conversions.

Ø Develop and implement local sales and marketing activities to increase product awareness and expand the society’s customer base.

Ø Handle customer enquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

Ø Collect and verify required customer documents and ensure proper KYC and other documentation as per company guidelines.

Ø Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, lead details, follow-up records, and system entries on a timely basis.

Ø Coordinate with branch staff and management for smooth processing of customer applications, deposits, loans, and other services.

Ø Monitor market conditions, identify potential customer segments, and explore opportunities to increase business in the assigned territory.

Ø Maintain regular follow-ups with customers to improve retention, repeat business, referrals, and long-term engagement.

Ø Ensure compliance with company policies, co-operative society regulations, KYC requirements, and internal procedures.

Submit daily/weekly/monthly activity and sales reports to the reporting manager and provide updates on target achievement.

Minimum Requirements

Ø 0-3 years of experience in customer service, banking, NBFC, or co-operative society operations.

Ø Basic knowledge of co-operative society rules, deposits, loans, and member services.

Ø Familiarity with KYC documentation and basic compliance requirements.





Ø Good communication skills in the local language; working knowledge of English preferred.

Ø Ability to handle customers politely and resolve issues effectively.

Ø Basic computer skills, including MS Office and banking/financial software.

Ø Sales orientation with the ability to promote society schemes and products.

Education/Certifications

Ø Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field (preferred).

Work Experience

Ø 1–3 years of experience in customer service, banking, NBFC, or co-operative society operations.

Ø Knowledge of co-operative society products, deposits, and loan schemes.

Ø Sales and persuasion skills to promote society services and schemes.

Ø Computer literacy and ability to use banking or society software.

Ø General physical fitness to perform daily office and customer-facing duties.

Ø Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods while handling records and systems.

Ø Capability to stand and move within the branch to assist members when required.

Ø Good stamina to manage continuous customer interactions throughout the working day.

Ø Adequate vision and hearing for effective communication and document verification.

Ø Ability to handle light physical tasks such as file movement and register handling.

Ø Fitness to occasionally travel locally for member visits, marketing, or recovery follow-ups.
