Job Description – Foundry Artist

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Foundry Artist with 1–2 years of experience in foundry operations. The candidate will be responsible for mould preparation, casting support, finishing, and maintaining quality and safety standards during the production process.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and handle moulds, patterns, and casting materials.
- Assist in melting, pouring, and casting operations as required.
- Perform fettling, grinding, cutting, and finishing of cast components.
- Inspect castings for defects, cracks, blowholes, and dimensional issues.
- Operate basic foundry tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.
- Follow production schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and follow all safety procedures.




- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to achieve production targets.
- Report casting defects, machine issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a foundry/manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of moulding, casting, fettling, and finishing processes.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding production environment.
- Positive understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th Pass with relevant foundry experience preferred.

Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
