Assistant Professor – CSE / AI&DS; / IT

Essential Qualification:

- M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline
- Candidates should have a strong academic background and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ph.D. / pursuing Ph.D. in a relevant discipline
- Relevant teaching or industry experience
- Research publications in reputed journals/conferences
- Experience with student projects, internships, technical events, or academic mentoring
- Knowledge of current technologies and industry-relevant tools

Final-year M.E. / M.Tech. candidates with the required academic background and a strong interest in teaching may also be considered, subject to eligibility and institutional requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

As an Assistant Professor, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering engaging and effective lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Preparing lesson plans, course materials, laboratory exercises, assignments, and assessments
- Teaching core and emerging subjects related to CSE, AI&DS;, and IT
- Guiding students in academic projects, mini projects, and final-year projects
- Mentoring students and supporting their academic and career development
- Conducting practical/laboratory sessions and ensuring effective learning outcomes




- Participating in departmental activities, academic events, workshops, seminars, and technical programs
- Encouraging students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, project exhibitions, paper presentations, and innovation activities
- Contributing to curriculum development and academic quality improvement
- Supporting student placements through technical training, mentoring, and industry-oriented skill development
- Developing and maintaining industry connections and encouraging industry-relevant learning
- Undertaking research activities and contributing to publications, conferences, funded projects, patents, or consultancy
- Participating in accreditation and academic documentation activities such as NBA, NAAC, and other institutional quality initiatives, as applicable
- Maintaining student records, academic documentation, and departmental responsibilities assigned by the institution

Salary
