Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Production Planner to develop and

manage production plans based on demand, capacity, material availability and

operational priorities. The role will be responsible for ensuring optimum utilization of

manpower, machinery and materials while achieving production and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on demand,

orders, inventory and business priorities.

- Develop production schedules considering machine capacity, manpower

availability, material availability and production lead times.

- Coordinate with Production, SCM, Procurement, Stores, Quality,

Maintenance and Sales teams for smooth execution of the plan.

- Monitor Plan vs. Actual Production and identify delays, bottlenecks, capacity

constraints and material shortages.

- Review material requirements and coordinate with Procurement/Stores to

ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.

- Monitor inventory levels and support optimum RM, WIP and Finished Goods

inventory.

- Revise production schedules in case of demand changes, breakdowns, material

shortages or other operational constraints.





- Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP systems and ensure accuracy of production

and inventory information.

- Prepare regular MIS reports covering production plan achievement, capacity

utilization, material availability, inventory and order fulfilment.

- Analyse planning data and recommend improvements to improve productivity,

reduce delays and optimize resource utilization.

- Work closely with management to support capacity planning, forecasting and

long-term production planning.

Candidate Profile

- 3+ years of relevant experience in Production Planning, PPC, Material Planning

or Manufacturing Operations.

- Graduate / B.E. / B.Tech / MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, Production,

Industrial Engineering or related field.

- Candidates from Premier Institutes / reputed engineering or management

schools will be preferred.

- Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Capacity Planning, MRP and

Inventory Management.

- Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with multiple departments and manage changing priorities.
- Robust communication, follow-up and execution skills.
