Job Description – ITI Fitter (Fabrication)

Position: ITI Fitter – Fabrication
Qualification: ITI – Fitter
Experience: 1–3 Years
Job Location: Pune / Shirwal
Department: Production / Fabrication

Key Responsibilities

- Perform fabrication and fitting work as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings, dimensions, and measurements.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and assembly activities.
- Handle fabrication tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and hand tools safely.
- Carry out MS/SS fabrication and structural fitting work.
- Support welding activities such as Arc / MIG / CO₂ welding as required.
- Perform tack welding and ensure proper alignment before final welding.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and fitment of fabricated components.
- Use measuring instruments such as measuring tape, Vernier caliper, spirit level, and try square.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S and safety procedures.
- Follow PPE, LOTO, and other applicable safety practices.




- Identify fabrication defects and coordinate with supervisors for corrective action.
- Complete assigned work within the required quality and production timelines.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of fabrication and fitting operations.
- Ability to read basic engineering/fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to use basic measuring instruments.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
- Robust focus on safety and quality.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI Fitter with 1–3 years of fabrication experience.
- Experience in industrial fabrication, machine structure, equipment fabrication, or engineering manufacturing will be preferred.
- Fresher ITI candidates with good fabrication skills may also be considered.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
