Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tool Room professional – Surface Grinding with strong hands-on expertise in precision grinding operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of surface grinding, tool & die components, precision measurements, tolerances and finishing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manage surface grinding machines for precision components.
- Perform grinding operations on dies, moulds, punches, inserts, tools, jigs and fixtures.
- Set up machines and select suitable grinding wheels and parameters.
- Achieve required dimensional accuracy, flatness, parallelism and surface finish.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool-room specifications.
- Inspect components using micrometers, height gauges, verniers and other precision instruments.
- Maintain close dimensional tolerances as per drawing requirements.




- Identify grinding defects and take appropriate corrective action.
- Coordinate with Tool Design, Production and Quality teams.
- Maintain grinding machines, tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Monitor wheel condition, dressing requirements and grinding performance.
- Maintain tool-room records and machining documentation.
- Minimize rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Follow safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

✅ Ability to maintain tight dimensional tolerances
✅ Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments
✅ Ability to read engineering drawings
✅ Knowledge of flatness, parallelism and surface-finish requirements
✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✅ High attention to accuracy and quality

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
