Vendor Development Engineer required urgently

Experience: 4–5 Years in Vendor Development

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, develop and evaluate new vendors and assess supply risks.
- Ensure timely material availability as per production/project schedules.
- Manage vendor coordination, material planning and subcontracting.
- Monitor vendor quality, delivery, capacity and performance.
- Negotiate with suppliers for cost savings and ensure budget compliance.
- Conduct vendor audits, visits and supplier development activities.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Design, Production, Stores and Logistics.
- Handle vendor queries and take corrective/debit actions when required.
- Maintain MIS and reports on material ordering, delivery, supplier performance and delays.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain 5S/documentation.
- Robust knowledge of Turning and Fabrication from a Purchase perspective.
