JOB DESCRIPTION – CAR TECHNICIAN

Job Purpose

To carry out vehicle servicing, diagnosis, repair and maintenance as per manufacturer standards while ensuring quality workmanship, safety and timely completion of assigned jobs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform periodic maintenance, general repairs and preventive maintenance of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical issues using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs and replacement of components as per manufacturer specifications.
- Follow job cards and instructions provided by the Service Advisor/Team Leader.
- Ensure proper quality checks and minimize repeat repairs and rework.
- Complete assigned jobs within the specified time and maintain productivity standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment and the work area in proper condition.
- Follow all workshop safety, cleanliness and technical standards.




- Report additional defects or repair requirements to the concerned Service Advisor/Team Leader.
- Maintain professional handling of customer vehicles and ensure no damage during repairs.

Requirements

- ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical preferred.
- Experience as an automobile technician is an advantage; freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.
- Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs efficiently.
- Team player with a responsible and quality-focused approach.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
