Reputed Oil & Gas / EPC Group | Project-Based | High-Volume Procurement

We are looking for experienced Project Procurement professionals to join a reputed Oil & Gas group company in Vadodara.

These roles involve high-volume, project-based procurement with responsibility for sourcing, commercial negotiations, purchase order placement, import purchases, vendor management and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules.

OPEN POSITIONS

· Lead / Senior Buyer – Instrumentation

· Lead / Senior Buyer – Electrical

· Buyer – Mechanical

· Expeditor – Project Procurement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· End-to-end procurement for large-scale Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / EPC projects

· Handling high-volume RFQs, purchase orders and multiple vendor packages

· Domestic as well as Import Procurement

· Vendor identification, sourcing and supplier development

· Preparation of RFQs and coordination of techno-commercial evaluations

· Commercial evaluation, cost analysis and price negotiations

· PO placement and post-order vendor management

· Coordination with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, Planning, Finance and Vendors

· Expediting manufacturing, inspection, documentation and dispatch

· Ensuring material availability in line with project milestones

· Managing multiple vendors and critical procurement packages simultaneously

· Monitoring procurement status, risks, delays and recovery actions

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have:

-- Hands-on experience in Import Purchase / Import Procurement




-- Strong experience in Project-Based & High-Volume Procurement
-- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
-- Sound knowledge of Incoterms and their practical application in international procurement
-- Good knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) payments, including coordination with banks/vendors
-- Good understanding of various types of Bank Guarantees (BGs), including Performance BG, Advance BG, Retention/other project-related guarantees
-- Strong commercial negotiation and vendor-management skills
-- Experience handling multiple vendors, packages and project priorities
-- Good understanding of procurement contracts, commercial terms and payment conditions
-- Experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / EPC / Engineering projects preferred
