Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Tuition Business Head to lead the academic function of our tuition programs for students from Classes 8 to 12. The Tuition Business Head will be responsible for building a strong academic framework, recruiting and managing quality faculty, ensuring syllabus completion, improving student performance, maintaining teaching standards, and creating a consistent learning experience across batches. This role requires someone who combines strong academic expertise with the ability to manage teachers, students, parents, and academic operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the academic framework for Classes 8-12. Plan annual, monthly, and weekly academic calendars aligned with the respective board syllabus.

Recruit, evaluate, onboard, and mentor faculty members across subjects. Conduct faculty demo evaluations and ensure consistent teaching quality.

Monitor syllabus coverage, lesson plans, classroom delivery, and academic outcomes. Develop systems for chapter tests, periodic assessments, mock examinations, and revision programs.

Track individual student performance and identify students requiring additional academic support. Introduce remedial classes, doubt-clearing sessions, and improvement plans for weaker students.

Develop structured worksheets, question banks, assessments, and academic resources. Analyse examination patterns, previous-year questions, and board requirements to ensure exam-oriented preparation.

Conduct regular faculty meetings, classroom observations, and performance reviews. Establish clear academic KPIs for teachers and monitor performance against them.

Ensure timely communication of student progress to parents. Conduct periodic parent-teacher interactions wherever required.

Maintain high standards of student attendance, academic discipline, and engagement. Work closely with the management team on new courses,



batch planning, faculty requirements, and academic expansion.

Continuously improve the academic model based on student results, parent feedback, and faculty performance.

Required Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Mathematics, Science, English, Commerce, or another relevant academic discipline.

B.Ed. preferred.

Minimum 7 years of teaching/academic experience, preferably involving Classes 8-12.

Previous experience as Academic Coordinator, HOD, Academic Manager, Centre Academic Head, or similar leadership role is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of CBSE and/or Kerala State syllabus and examination patterns. Experience managing teachers and academic teams.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is not simply an experienced teacher, but an academic leader who can build and run an entire tuition academic system. We are looking for someone who can develop robust teachers, create measurable improvements in student performance, establish disciplined academic processes, and help build a scalable Classes 8-12 tuition model.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
