Position: Sales Coordinator
Location: Kochi , Kerala
Reports to: Management/Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator to support our Sales and Business Development team in managing customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations, proposals, CRM updates, and client follow-ups. The role involves close coordination with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and clients to ensure timely and accurate handling of commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with the Business Development/Sales team for customer enquiries, RFQs, quotations, and proposals.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial documents.
- Maintain and update CRM records, customer databases, sales opportunities, and sales pipelines.
- Follow up with clients regarding open enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, payments, and other pending matters.
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to obtain required technical inputs and prepare proposals.
- Maintain sales reports, enquiry trackers, quotation trackers, and prospect status.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, client communications, and follow-up actions.




- Ensure timely follow-up on pending client requirements and internal actions.
- Assist the Business Development team in identifying and following up on potential business opportunities.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Sales and Business Development functions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A qualification in Marine, Offshore, or other related technical disciplines will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Support, Business Development, or a similar role.
- Experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, Engineering, Shipbuilding, or Technical Services is preferred.

Software Skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Outlook and CRM software.
- Basic knowledge of Google Workspace and digital communication/marketing tools.
- Knowledge of ERP or proposal management software will be an added advantage.
