Position: IT Project Head

Role Objective

To lead and coordinate end-to-end technology functions including development, testing, and implementation, ensuring systems are effectively aligned with business needs and executed with quality and efficiency.

The IT Head will lead the technology function across all business verticals of AGT Business Associates, driving digital transformation, ERP-led process excellence, and end-to-end software lifecycle governance.

The role requires strong leadership in system architecture, software development coordination, ERP implementation, testing, consultant management, and business process integration to support operational growth across multiple entities.

Candidates with strong ERP implementation expertise, particularly ERPNext, will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate software development activities with internal/external teams
- Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
- Ensure proper coding standards, system architecture, and scalability
- Supervise testing, debugging, and quality assurance processes
- Lead system implementation across operational units
- Work closely with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Review ongoing projects, timelines, and delivery efficiency
- Identify gaps, improve systems, and ensure continuous upgrades




- Ensure proper documentation and process control

Candidate Profile

- Proven leadership experience in IT / technology management roles
- Strong hands-on understanding of coding, databases, and system architecture
- Robust ERP implementation and workflow design expertise
- Experience managing internal technical teams and external partners
- Strong project execution and stakeholder management skills

Experience

- 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience as IT Manager / IT Head / Technology Lead preferred
- ERP implementation experience mandatory
- ERPNext experience highly preferred
- Experience in hospitality, retail, franchise, or multi-location business environments is an added advantage
