Job Description of Building Maintenance Supervisor

The Building Maintenance Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and structural components. Key duties include conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system failures, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance, and maintaining transparent logs of all repairs. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), evaluating vendor performance, scheduling servicing, and tracking covered equipment to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.

Further responsibilities includes managing the campus auditorium,



which involves supervising its physical upkeep, HVAC systems, and seating, as well as operating and troubleshooting specialized audio-visual (AV), lighting, stage, and sound equipment. The supervisor works closely with event organizers to ensure seamless setup and technical support for programs while maintaining strict clean and safety standards.
