1. Internal Auditor – Hotel Industry: Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits of hotel operations, finance, revenue and compliance.
- Verify daily room, F&B;, banquet and other revenue against PMS/POS records.
- Audit cash collections, bank transactions, credit card/UPI settlements and cash variances.
- Check purchases, vendor bills, payments, approvals and procurement controls.
- Conduct physical verification and reconciliation of food, beverage, stores and hotel inventories.
- Review F&B; cost, wastage, complimentary/discount transactions and revenue leakages.
- Verify compliance with company policies, SOPs, statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Identify financial irregularities, process gaps, fraud risks and operational inefficiencies.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, risk levels and corrective/preventive actions, and follow up on closure.
- Report significant observations to Management/GM and recommend measures to improve profitability, controls and operational efficiency.

Accounts Head – Hotel Industry: Roles & Responsibilities





- Manage the complete Finance & Accounts operations of the hotel.
- Monitor daily hotel revenue, cash, bank, POS and PMS reconciliation.
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Receivable, General Ledger and cash flow.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare monthly P&L;, MIS, financial statements and management reports.
- Control F&B; cost, inventory, purchases, expenses and operational leakages.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and budget vs. actual variances.
- Manage vendor payments, receivables, credit control and account reconciliation.
- Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Lead the Accounts team, strengthen internal controls and provide financial insights to Management.
