Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Databricks ecosystem, Unity Catalog, and Business Taxonomy.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams, translating business requirements into technical and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and technical teams.
- Understand data analytics workflows and processes within the Databricks environment.
- Work with Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance, data lineage, metadata management, and secure access.
- Design, implement, and maintain Business Taxonomies to organize and classify business data effectively.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and functional specifications.
- Identify data requirements, dependencies, gaps, and potential risks.
- Support data governance and ensure data is structured and categorized appropriately for business users.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Prepare documentation, process flows, data mappings, and requirement specifications.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills





- 5–8 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong practical experience working within the Databricks ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata, and access management.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Business Taxonomies.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical/data requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working closely with data engineering and data analytics teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with enterprise data platforms and modern data architecture.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data management practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Robust understanding of data classification and business data structures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a strong combination of business analysis, data analytics, Databricks, data governance, and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
