We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and engineer mechanical systems for our robotics and automation products. The role spans the complete design cycle, from CAD modelling and engineering analysis through prototyping, assembly, vendor coordination, and on-site installation and testing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mechanical CAD Design & Drawings — Design mechanical parts and assemblies for
robotic systems (robot arms, AMRs, robotic actuators) and allied machine components, and
generate detailed production drawings with appropriate GD&T;, tolerances, and fits.
2. Engineering Analysis — Perform structural (FEA) and fluid (CFD) analysis during the
design phase to validate strength, stiffness, fatigue, and flow performance, and to arrive at
properly engineered, optimised parts.
3. Component Selection & Sizing — Select suitable bought-out components (bearings,
motors, gearboxes, linear guides, fasteners) and perform supporting calculations such as
motor/actuator sizing, torque, and gear-ratio computations.
4. Design for Manufacturing & Assembly — Design parts that are manufacturable and easy
to assemble, accounting for in-house and vendor processes such as machining, wire EDM,
sheet metal, fabrication, and 3D printing.
5. BOM & Costing — Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials and assist with part cost
estimation to support procurement and customer quotations.
6. Assembly Support — Assist with the assembly and integration of parts after
manufacturing,
including fit checks and basic troubleshooting.
7. Vendor & Supplier Coordination — Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure parts
are procured, manufactured, and assembled on time to meet order commitments. MACH & ROS

commissioning, and testing of delivered products.
10.Technical Documentation — Prepare design documentation (design reports, assembly
and installation instructions, datasheets) and participate in design reviews.
