Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CCTV Installation Engineer to handle end-to-end installation,

configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, with strong hands-on expertise in structured

cabling, rack dressing, and patch management. The ideal candidate will ensure clean, organized,

and reliable network infrastructure supporting surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related surveillance

equipment

* Plan and execute structured cabling for CCTV and network systems (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber as

required)

* Perform rack dressing — neatly arrange, bundle, and label cables within server/network

racks for clean and organized installations

* Carry out patch management — terminate, test, and organize patch panels and patch cords;

maintain correct port mapping and labeling

* Configure IP cameras, NVRs, and integrate them with the existing network infrastructure

* Set up VLANs, switches, and basic network configurations to support CCTV traffic

* Test cable runs and patch connections for continuity and performance before handover

* Troubleshoot and resolve CCTV, cabling, and network connectivity issues

* Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive checks on installed systems





* Maintain accurate documentation — rack layouts, cable schedules, port mapping sheets,

and as-built diagrams

* Coordinate with clients/site teams for installation scheduling and project timelines

* Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and cabling best practices

Requirements

* Proven experience in CCTV installation, configuration, and commissioning

* Hands-on expertise in structured cabling, rack dressing, and patch panel management

* Working knowledge of patch cord termination, cable testing tools (cable tester, crimping

tools), and labeling standards

* Basic understanding of networking concepts — IP addressing, switches, routers, VLANs

* Familiarity with different types of CCTV systems (analog, IP-based) and DVR/NVR

configuration

* Ability to read and create rack layout diagrams and cable schedules

* Ability to work independently, manage on-site installations, and meet project deadlines

* Valuable communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, IT, or a related field

* Certification in structured cabling or networking (CCNA or similar) is a plus

* Prior experience working on large-scale CCTV or data center cabling projects
