Job Title: Consultant – ENT

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct outpatient consultations and comprehensive ENT examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
- Perform ENT procedures and surgeries as per expertise and hospital privileges.
- Manage common ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, foreign bodies, airway emergencies, and acute infections.
- Perform and interpret relevant ENT procedures and investigations, as applicable.
- Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up for surgical patients.




- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records.
- Coordinate patient care with other specialties whenever multidisciplinary management is required.
- Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per the hospital roster.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection-control protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, teaching, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain skilled and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
