We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented EDI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and integrations between our organization, customers, suppliers, and third-party partners.
The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, an understanding of EDI standards and business processes, and the ability to work closely with internal teams, trading partners, and technical teams to ensure reliable and accurate data exchange.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily EDI transactions and identify transaction failures, errors, and exceptions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot EDI issues across inbound and outbound transactions.
- Support EDI mapping, translation, and integration processes.
- Work with business teams and trading partners to resolve EDI-related issues.
- Validate EDI documents and ensure compliance with required standards and partner specifications.
- Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support onboarding of new trading partners and implementation of new EDI transactions.
- Maintain EDI maps, partner profiles, specifications, and related documentation.
- Monitor transaction acknowledgements and ensure successful processing.
- Collaborate with application, integration, infrastructure, and development teams when issues require technical support.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring EDI issues and recommend preventive solutions.
- Participate in EDI testing, validation, and production deployment activities.
- Maintain incident records and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to established processes, SLAs, security requirements, and data-quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working as an EDI Analyst, EDI Support Analyst, EDI Specialist, or Integration Analyst.
- Solid understanding of EDI concepts, transaction flows, and business processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EDI platforms such as Cleo, Sterling, Gentran, Seeburger, OpenText, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar integration platforms.
- Knowledge of APIs, XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, FTP/SFTP, and web services.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting EDI integrations in a production environment.
- Knowledge of retail, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or healthcare EDI processes is a plus.
