Job Summary

We are looking for a Final Inspector – Two Wheeler to ensure that all motorcycles and scooters serviced or repaired in our workshop meet the required quality and safety standards before delivery to customers.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting final quality inspections, verifying completed jobs, identifying technical issues, conducting test rides, coordinating with technicians for rectification, and ensuring First-Time-Right and zero-defect vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct final inspection of motorcycles and scooters after service or repair.
- Verify that all jobs mentioned in the Job Card have been completed correctly.
- Inspect engine, clutch, gearbox, brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, chain, battery, and other mechanical components.
- Check electrical systems including lights, indicators, horn, switches, meter console, starter, charging system, and other electrical functions.
- Check for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, poor performance, warning indications, and other technical issues.
- Inspect vehicle body, paint finish, panels, fittings, mirrors, accessories, and overall appearance.
- Conduct post-service test rides to check vehicle performance, braking, steering, acceleration, handling, and abnormal sounds.
- Verify that customer complaints mentioned on the Job Card have been properly resolved.
- Identify incomplete, incorrect, or poor-quality repair work and send the vehicle back for rectification.
- Coordinate with Technicians, Service Advisors, Job Controllers, and Workshop Supervisors for corrective action.




- Re-inspect the vehicle after rectification and confirm that the issue has been completely resolved.
- Ensure that no vehicle is released to the customer without completing the required final quality checks.
- Complete and maintain final inspection checklists, reports, and quality records.
- Monitor repeat repairs, comebacks, and recurring technical issues.
- Report major or repeated quality concerns to the Service Manager / Workshop Manager.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, properly assembled, and ready for customer delivery.
- Follow OEM standards, dealership SOPs, workshop safety procedures, and quality guidelines.
- Support the workshop team in improving repair quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in two-wheeler service, workshop, PDI, or quality inspection.
- Strong technical knowledge of motorcycles and scooters.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to identify defects and diagnose basic technical issues.
- Ability to conduct and evaluate two-wheeler test rides.
- Good observation and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and quality-control skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for inspection records and workshop software.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is required.
- Ability to work under delivery timelines and maintain high quality standards.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
