About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our SaaS platform and contribute to the architecture of multiple strategic software projects. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and define the architecture for SaaS applications and enterprise software solutions.
- Lead technical design discussions and establish architectural standards and best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and cloud services.
- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, highly available, and maintainable.
- Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Drive system integration, API design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development.
- Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across teams.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
- Support modernization initiatives and continuous improvement of existing applications.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Architect.
- Overall 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable SaaS applications.




- Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimisation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD).
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
- Exposure to AI/ML integration or modern data platforms is an added advantage.
