## About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and technically curious *Mechanical Design & Development Engineers* to join our Design & Development team.

The role involves working on the *design, development, prototyping, testing, and improvement of mechanical products and equipment*. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in mechanical design and be willing to work closely with fabrication, manufacturing, suppliers, and the production team.

*Freshers with good technical fundamentals and a strong interest in product design are encouraged to apply.*

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.

* Assist in the design and development of new products and mechanisms.

* Prepare and maintain *part drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and design documentation*.

* Select suitable materials, fasteners, bearings, shafts, springs, motors, and other mechanical components.

* Perform basic engineering calculations related to strength, dimensions, loads, mechanisms, and material selection.

* Work closely with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.

* Participate in *prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements*.

* Identify design issues and develop practical engineering solutions.

* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for components, fabrication, machining, and other manufacturing requirements.

* Make design modifications based on testing, production feedback, and customer requirements.





* Support continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes.

* Maintain proper revision control and engineering documentation.

## Required Skills

* Good understanding of *Mechanical Engineering fundamentals*.

* Knowledge of *Engineering Drawing, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes*.

* Good understanding of materials and their applications.

* Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding, sheet-metal work, and general manufacturing processes is an advantage.

* Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

* Basic knowledge of mechanical calculations and engineering standards.

* Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Willingness to learn and work on practical engineering problems.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

## CAD Skills

Candidates should have working knowledge of at least one *3D CAD software*, such as:

* SolidWorks

* Autodesk Inventor

* Solid Edge

* Creo

* Fusion 360

* AutoCAD

*Freshers with basic CAD knowledge and robust interest in mechanical design are welcome.*

## Preferred Qualities

We are especially interested in candidates who:

* Enjoy *designing and building things*, not just working with theoretical concepts.

* Have participated in engineering projects, competitions, internships,



or product development activities.

* Can visualize mechanical mechanisms and convert concepts into practical designs.

* Are comfortable visiting the workshop/fabrication area and working with technicians.

* Have a hands-on approach to engineering and troubleshooting.

* Take ownership of their work and are willing to learn new technologies and processes.

## Experience

*Freshers:* Strong candidates with good fundamentals, CAD skills, and a genuine interest in mechanical product design are encouraged to apply.

*1–2 Years Experience:* Candidates with experience in mechanical design, product development, fabrication, machinery, equipment, or manufacturing will be preferred.

## What You Will Work On

The selected candidates will get exposure to various stages of *real-world product development*, including:

*Concept → Design → CAD Modelling → Engineering Drawings → Prototype → Testing → Design Improvement → Manufacturing*

This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to work across *design, development, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing*.
